FemChem is proud to announce our next workshop, focusing on the programming language Python. This workshop aims to give an introduction to Python and explain the basics necessary for data processing and visualization. There is no previous programming language knowledge required to participate, this workshop is suitable for beginners.
The Workshop consists of online explanatory videos and exercises, which can be completed individually. A link to the online course and the exercises will be sent out to all subscribers by March, 19th. There will be 4 online “in person” meetings where questions regarding the exercises and/or the videos will be addressed by the lecturer, Dr. Georg Ramer. The online meeting schedule is as follows:
March 26th Kick-off/setup
April 9th Exercises: variables & control flow
April 16th Exercises: Visualisation
April 23rd Exercises: statistics & signal processing
The online meetings will be 17:00 to 18:00. In case of a large interest, additional meetings will be offered.
Attendance of all 4 meetings is not necessary in order to complete the workshop.
