We are proud to announce our third course of this year! In cooperation with the TU Career Center we offer a tailored career planning workshop on October 6th 2021 from 9-17 h.
What can you expect?
The focus of the training “Fit for Career?” is career planning tailored specifically to female chemists. Based on a detailed personality questionnaire filled out in advance, to analyze your strengths and interests, we will address the following questions:
- What are the differences between an academic career and a career in industry and what fits my personality best?
- What are the different types of careers? What are current trends in the application process (online portals, online interviews,…)?
- What does a good Curriculum Vitae look like?
- What do I need to know about salary?
The workshop includes professional inputs, practical exercises, gives the possibility for reflection, exchange of experiences in the group and a Q&A session. The training is addressed to at all female chemists from the beginning as well as the end of their Master or PhD program at the TU Vienna.
Hard Facts
The course consists of an interactive 1-day training in person at the Kontaktraum at Gußhausstraße 25-27 on the 6th floor of EI from 9-17 h. The course will be held in English by the experienced trainers from the Career Center Susanne Leeb and Julia Stift. To address each participant individually, the number of participants (max. 20 participants) is limited and the course will be held female-only. Registration opens today on September 15th for members of TU only. You can register by filling out the form below:
