Join us for our upcoming FemChem workshop, focusing on using the latest AI tools for academic research. The workshop will provide you with hands-on experience in AI technologies and will enhance the quality of your academic writing. Additionally, we offer a Half-Day open session on December 1st for personalized questions and discussions.

What can you expect?

This workshop is designed for researchers at the beginning of their journey into using AI tools who want to learn the basics of artificial intelligence (AI) and how to integrate AI into their research practice effectively. The workshop offers a hands-on, practical introduction to AI to empower researchers to use AI chatbots (e.g., ChatGPT) and many other AI tools.
Topics covered in the workshop include:

  • Critical communication skills to get the most out of AI chatbots
  • AI tools for ideating, refining, and exploring research topics
  • Conducting AI-powered literature reviews
  • How to leverage the power of AI tools to enhance your academic writing
  • Discover key resources to continue your journey with AI beyond the workshop

This workshop is specifically designed for beginners, providing introductory-level insights to initiate the journey towards using AI for research. The workshop activities assume no prior knowledge or experience with AI.

This one-day training will take place in person on Thursday, November 30th 2023 from 9-17 h at Getreidemarkt 9 (BC Lehartrakt, room Seminarraum Lehar 02). The workshop will be held in English by our experienced trainer Dr. Bron Eager. Don’t miss the chance to discuss individual questions in the open session on December 1st (BC Lehartrakt, room Seminarraum Lehar 03) from 9-12°h!
